The crimps are spring-loaded and feature strong steel jaws and as a result, give a high-quality crimp each time. The three coloured dots on the jaws correspond to the correct terminal sizes as per the following sizes: red 0.5 – 1 mm², blue 1.5 – 2.5 mm² and yellow 2.6 – 6 mm².
